During our recent family vacation at Stavroula Palace in Kissamos, we found ourselves enjoying the quiet charm that this destination offers, even in peak season. As a fashion photographer who often traverses the luxury scenes of Italy, I valued this welcoming environment for a family getaway. The location of the hotel is excellent, right on the sea promenade, making it easy for us to explore local restaurants and the nearby beach. My child, under 12, loved the swimming pool area, where there were plenty of sunbeds for relaxation. While the room initially had an unpleasant odor, the stunning views were a redeeming factor. We received a discount for this inconvenience, which was appreciated. The staff was consistently kind and helpful, always ready to assist. Their attentive nature contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. Stavroula Palace proved to be a great choice for our family; the combination of family-friendly amenities, the serene location, and supportive hosts made our chilled days in Crete memorable.
